Gemini Spikers
My humble suggestion for a particularly lethal spiker duo:
Castor (E/Me):
Lightning Orb (or) Chain Lightning
Mind Shock
Arcane Mimicry
Air Atunement
16 Air
15 Storage
High energy granting weapon/staff/artifact
Pollux (E/Me):
Lightning Orb (or) Chain Lightning
Lightning Surge
Arcane Mimicry
Air Attunement
16 Air
15 Storage
High energy granting weapon/staff/artifact
Before battle each mimics the other. Castor casts Lightning Surge, Lightning Orb (or chain), and Mind Shock. The Surge will pull the opponent but will not strike until just after the Orb hits (.75 for surge's recoil, 2 for orb's cast). 1.75 later the Mind Shock will hit. So presumably at second 2.75, 3 and 4.75 the target will receive hits of 106 each, or 318 in a span of 2 seconds. Unless Surges don't stack (and I haven't found someone to try this with so I don't know), Pollux can do the same thing to the same foe for 636 in 2 seconds. If not, Pollux can always do Orb, Surge, Shock for 636 in 4-5 seconds. 636 seems like it would kill practically anything and I'm wondering if there is a more painful 2 seconds of hell that could be achieved (with an Elem at least). Obviously hex removing within 3 seconds will largely ruin the fun, so against some creatures and probably all PvP teams it wouldn't be any good. The Orb vs Chain question is largely moot since I'm only talking about spiking one (or maybe two) enemies. If anyone has any suggestions I'd be happy to hear them, I'd also like to try it out sometime if I can find another Air Elem out there.

Good job on bringing this strategy up. Since chain is instant, while orb isn't, most air eles just cast chain after surge, then spam orb and strike.

Ahh yes the projectile delay. Well I was thinking about it and Chain would be better anyway because that way you can have each caster attack a different enemy, and since they are likely to be very near each other each one's chain will hit the other's, for 424 damage on two different enemies in 2 seconds.

Surge doesn't stack, it's a hex. It works kinda like how Wastrel's Worry works, you can't cast it on the same character 8 times and get 800+dmg in 3 seconds. It wouldn't hurt to have 2 eles carrying it though, so they could alternate it and not get exhuasted as much. That duo better be on vent/ts.

there's a simpler way to do this. just have two elementalists with mind shock. now you don't have to worry about lightning surge being a hex.
elementalist 1
lightning orb
mind shock
chain lightning
elementalist 2
lightning orb
mind shock
chain lightning
each one casts four spells in succession (start with orb, and then after the other two, cast orb again). would be funny making 4 teams of two ele's, and just going nuts with damage. Maybe have them all go ele/monk, and bring glyph of sacrafice + restore life, and a ressurection signet. They would probably be slaughtered... but hell it would be fun.

Have you been to the tombs before Natures Renewal became the new FOTM? Back then you would ONLY find teams full of aeromancers XD
